Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh – Shimla

Arrive Delhi airport/railway station and drive to Shimla (115 km / 03 hrs) the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Enroute visit Pinjore Gardens or Ropeway at Timber Trail, Parwanoo. Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll on The Mall and the famous Ridge. Ridge is famous for its stunning vistas of the valley and the Christ Church which is the most photographed landmark of Shimla. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2Shimla

After breakfast visit to Jakhu Temple situated on the highest peak of Shimla. After offering prayers and enjoying the panoramic views of Shivalik Ranges proceed to Kufri where you can photograph yourself in hired Pahari or Himachal attires. Enjoy Pony riding or yak riding (at your own cost). Later proceed to Naldhera which is famous for its golf course and scenic beauty. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3Shimla - Manali


After breakfast drive to Manali by road (270 km / 07 hrs). Enroute visit to famous Kullu Shawl factories or enjoy white water rafting in River Beas (at your own cost). Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll on The Mall. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4Manali 


After breakfast visit to Hadimba Devi Temple, Club House, Vashist Bath and Tibetan Monastery. Post lunch visit to Solang Valley, famous for its picturesque location and adventurous activities, enjoy lots of activities there i.e River Crossing/ Rock Climbing/ Rappelling / Paragliding/ Mountain Bike/ Zorbing/ Hot Air Ballooning / Pony Riding/ Cable Car etc. (at your own cost). Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5Manali 


Early morning depart for full day excursion to Rohtang Pass (if weather permits). Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of more than 13000 feet, is the gateway to Lahaul, Spiti and Ladakh. Enjoy lots of adventurous activities there i.e. Skiing/ Snow Bike/ Pony Riding etc. (at your own cost). Enroute visit to Nehru Kund, Gulaba, Rahalla falls and Rani Nallah. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6Manali - Dharamshala 


Arrive After breakfast drive to Dharamshala by road (240 km / 08 hrs). Enroute visit Baijnath, a famous ancient Shiva temple and is one of the twelve jyotirlingas in the world. Arrival Dharamshala and check into the hotel. Dharamshala is the seat of His Holiness Dalai Lama and the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile. The town has a large Tibetan refugee settlement and numerous monks in their flowing maroon robes can be seen in their traditional clothes walking past serenely turning their prayer wheels. In the evening visit Dalai Lama’s main temple, “Namgyal Monastery” at McLeodganj. It houses giant stucco statues of the Buddha, Avalokiteshwara and Padmasambhava. Also visit St. John church, situated in the wilderness just one km from McLeodganj, this church is one of the most poignant memories of the British Raj. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.

Day 7Dharamshala – Dalhousie 


After breakfast drive to Dalhousie (130 Km, 4 Hrs). Dalhousie is beautiful hill station named after name of Lord Dalhousie, a British Viceroy of Raj Era. Dalhousie is thickly wooded hill station and situated at height of 7500 ft above sea level. Arrive Dalhousie , check into the hotel. In the evening visit Mall road, Satdhara (seven springs), Gandhi chowk/ Subash baoli. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel

Day 8Dalhousie ( Khajjiar Excursion)


After breakfast depart for Khajjiar (just 22 Km). Khajjiar is known as mini Switzerland of India. Enroute visit Dain kund, Kalatop wildlife sanctuary. Visit Khajjiar lake, Khajjinag temple, Shiva temple, enjoy pony riding and adventure sports (at your own cost) at Khajjiar lake. Return to Dalhousie. In the evening visit Panjpulla (five bridges), a beautiful picnic spot just outside the town. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.

Day 9Dalhousie to Amritsar

After Breakfast, Drive to Amritsar( World Famous City for GOLDEN TEMPLE), Reach Amritsar in 4 hours from Dalhousie (approx 210 km), After Freshen up . visit the GOLDEN TEMPLE and Later in the evening, one can enjoy the Local Market. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 10Amritsar – Chandigarh


After breakfast transfer to Chandigarh railway station or Airport (240 km / 05 Hrs.) for your onward journey or journey back to home
